Biography

Thames born and bred, Rodney attended Thames High School, graduated from Auckland University and was admitted to the Bar in 1980. Over the years his practice has evolved from civil litigation, police and traffic court and family court work, to employment law, relationship property, wills and trusts, and residential and rural conveyancing.

Rodney is married to Sally and they have three children. His recreational pursuits include running and choral singing. He also currently sits on the board of The Coromandel Heritage Trust and the Sports & Education Community Trust (known locally as ZoomZone) and is president of the Thames Harrier Club Inc.

Rodney is the fourth generation Poulgrain in the firm.
